A rescue boat is always on duty for Club Sunday Sailings

If you are an experienced dinghy sailor and can give some time to help out at Sunday Sailings or at junior sailing events, we'd like to hear from you.

If you already have RYA Powerboat 2 or the Rescue Boat qualification, the SGBA would love to hear from you. We are also always looking for people willing to undertake the training who can man the rescue boat for club sailing.

The SGBA organises junior sailing courses for children aged 8-11 in early summer. We also support the DRYSA Sail training programme for older children. Adults can also receive one-to-one sail training from Trevor "Bones" Black.

RYA Powerboat and Rescue Boat training is available through the SGBA.
