Minimize

The Association aims to:

  • promote boating on the Dart
  • provide sail training for youngsters
  • be a focus for the on-the-water activities of the local community
  • and contribute to the life of the village of Stoke Gabriel.

We currently number about 200 subscribing members, plus partners and families.

Each year we have a Summer Programme of boating activities and a Winter Programme of talks and social events. We have a Clubhouse (with storage lockers) on the quay and a dinghy park at nearby Mill Point that also has a storage building. The club owns 7 Toppers, 6 Laser Bugs, 6 Laser Picos, a Laser, a 420, a Wanderer, 2 kayaks a canoe and a motor boat. All of these are available for use by members without payment; however, for the motor boat there is a modest fee. There is a Newsletter twice a year.

Quarry Working Party
7 February 2010

A dedicated team of hard working volunteers laid hardcore over the quarry floor on a busy Sunday working party. By leveling the quarry floor it should be easier to launch the club dinghies and those owned by club members.

A big thank you to all of you who helped.
